1C Vietnam attended the Conference summarizing activities in 2023 and implementing tasks in 2024 of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA)

The conference was attended by Mr. Do Trung Ta - former Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Chairman of the VDCA Advisory Council; Mr. Nguyen Quan - former Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Automation Association, member of the VDCA Advisory Council; Mr. Pham Ngoc Linh - Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations; Mr. Vu Hoang Lien - Chairman of Vietnam Internet Association; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of the Boston Global Forum, Member of the VDCA Advisory Council; Mr. Vu Hai Quang - Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam, Member of the Association's Standing Committee; Lieutenant Colonel Tran Xuan Tien - Captain of the Information and Communications Team, Internal Political Security Department, City Police. Hanoi; Mr. Ho Minh Nghia - officer of the Department of Internal Political Security (A03), Ministry of Public Security.

Also attending were Mr. Jean-Noël Poirier - former French Ambassador to Vietnam; Ms. Tran Kim Phuong - Chief of Office of Vietnam Information Security Association; Ms. Cao Anh Hang - Deputy Director of the Membership Development and Services Department of the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association; Representative of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations - Ministry of Home Affairs; leaders of associations, members of the Executive Committee, leaders of affiliated units, and representatives of member units.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong - Chairman of Vietnam Digital Communications Association said: "Vietnam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) has implemented almost all of the tasks set out in 2023, specifically successfully implementing 29 of number 30 tasks in the plan. In particular, the Association successfully organized the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award - VDA for the sixth year and the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Award - VCA for the first year, along with seminars and exhibitions on the sidelines.

The Association has organized many events and seminars to participate in solving, commenting and criticizing current issues that are of interest to the industry and public opinion such as organizing the National Forum "Digital Content Creation, Digital Copyright Protection and Digital Advertising", co-organizing the Workshop "Protecting Press Copyright in the digital environment"; Participate in comments on drafts of the Electronic Transactions Law (amended), Telecommunications Law, Land Law, Digital Infrastructure Strategy, National Blockchain Strategy, Decree replacing Decree 72/2013/ND- CP, District/Commune Digital Transformation Index, Technology Map, List of National Databases, E-Government Framework, etc.


Along with that, many associations, corporations and businesses such as: Thai Council of Commerce, Crestron Group (USA), Starlink (USA), Aqua Company (Singapore), 1C (Russia), Wenet, Citi, MasterCard, ... worked with Vietnam Digital Media, proposing cooperation content.

Reporting to the Conference on the expected activity plan for 2024, Mr. Vu Kiem Van - Vice President, General Secretary of the Association - said that the Association will continue to organize two major awards, the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award. - VDA 2024 and Vietnam Digital Content Creation Award - VCA 2024.

Along with that are thematic activities of the Digital Café Club, consulting and criticism activities of IPS and other units, organization of training activities aimed at domestic and foreign businesses, and a series of Techtour activities at North and South, a series of training events, DX Talk in collaboration with the Digital Transformation community.

Mr. Vu Kiem Van added: VDCA will continue activities on digital copyright protection on the national digital copyright axis, expanding copyright exploitation and protection in all fields.
