1C Vietnam, HAMI and Techcombank accompany private manufacturing enterprises to "Transform in Trade Storm"

On June 20, 2025, at the 1C Vietnam office, the seminar "Transformation in Trade Storm - The synergy of Policy - Finance - Technology for private manufacturing enterprises" took place successfully. The event was organized by the Hanoi Association of Key Industrial Products Manufacturing Enterprises (HAMI) in collaboration with Techcombank and 1C Vietnam Joint Stock Company and attracted the attention of many private manufacturing enterprises.

"Transformation" - Conditions for survival in a volatile context

In the context of a volatile global economy with tightening control over supply chains, environmental taxes and increased monitoring of origin from major economies such as the United States and the EU, along with pressure on production costs, lack of working capital and the need to transform domestic technology, "transformation" is no longer an option but has become a condition for business survival.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Cong Cuong – Vice President of HAMI – emphasized: “Vietnamese private manufacturing enterprises are at a point where they need to reposition their strategies. In the forming ‘trade storm’, if we do not act now – especially in the three factors of policy, finance, and technology – we will fall behind.”

At the event, businesses also had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung - Senior Expert, Economic Analysis & Financial Market Department of Techcombank - share warnings about the shift in global capital flows and the current fierce financial competition trend, so that businesses can have the right and timely directions.

There was also a speech shared by Mr. Bui Thanh Minh - Deputy Director of Professional Affairs, Office of Department IV - about policies and opportunities from decrees and resolutions to help businesses seize development opportunities from the State's support policies.

The discussion at the event brought together leading experts in the fields of policy, finance and digital transformation, providing in-depth analysis and practical suggestions:

- Mr. Bui Thanh Minh analyzed the opportunities from Resolution 68 on private economic development, while emphasizing the need for industry clusters with independent policy voices.

- Ms. Phung Thi Thu Huong (Senior Director, Global Transaction Banking Division - Techcombank) shared about the urgent need for flexible financial packages and proposed a "strategic financial partnership" model between banks and manufacturing enterprises.

- Mr. Nguyen Cong Cuong emphasized that in the context of the rapidly changing global and domestic economy, private enterprises need to adapt to challenges and opportunities from policy, finance and technology for sustainable development.

- Ms. Pham Hoai Anh (Commercial Director, 1C Vietnam Joint Stock Company) shared about the "appropriate - measured" digital transformation roadmap, helping small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises apply technology effectively without being overloaded.

The discussion delved into the internal challenges of businesses such as lack of human resources, poor governance, and lack of financial transparency. The speakers also emphasized the role of policies, which require co-creation from businesses instead of just one-way documents. Most importantly, the discussion ended with specific commitments to action: HAMI proposed an industry working group, Board IV is ready to pilot industry cluster policy consulting, Techcombank develops flexible credit packages, suitable for businesses' production cycles, and 1C Vietnam offers 10 personalized digital transformation consulting packages, helping businesses find the most effective and suitable technology application roadmap for their specific characteristics.

The open dialogue space also created conditions for businesses to openly share practical barriers in accessing capital, implementing ERP or the lack of connection between policies and industry associations. Opinions were unanimous in wanting more mechanisms to protect policy critics, strengthening official online feedback platforms and building an ecosystem of cross-sectoral and cross-regional technical support.

At the end of the seminar, the representative of the Organizing Committee affirmed that the seminar is the first step in a series of strategic actions of HAMI to support private manufacturing enterprises to overcome the "trade storm", with real support from policy, financial and technology organizations.

“No one can weather the storm alone. Only when policies, finance and technology work together can Vietnamese enterprises truly transform themselves and reach international standards.” 1C Vietnam is proud to be a part of this common effort, committed to providing practical technology solutions to help Vietnamese enterprises become more stable in their journey of transformation and development.
